On Wednesday, February 8, 2012 the lake elevation is 385.37 feet above mean sea level and the tailwater elevation is 367.17 feet above mean sea level. Gates 1-5 are open 3 ft, and gates 6-7 at 4 ft. The water temperature, approximately one mile upstream of the dam, is 52 degrees at the surface and the 10 foot depth.

You may call TVA's Lake Information Line at 1-800-238-2264 to obtain the latest changes to this schedule and the weekend schedules.  When calling, select the number "4" on your phone's keypad - this is the water release schedule.  The code for Cheatham Lake is "39".  After the CFS report begins, push the "#" key and stay on the line for the latest generation schedule.  You can also visit their Cheatham web page.
