Headwater elevation for Lake Barkley  at 6:00 A.M.CST is at  356.20 ft and the tailwater elevation is at 310.60 ft Lake Barkley temperature at the surface is 60 degrees.  The water temperature at the 5 ft. depth is 60 degrees.

 
Generating Schedule
The Lake Barkley Power Plant houses 4 generating units which produce 32,500 kw each. Todays discharge schedule will average 28,938 cubic feet per second.  This schedule is subject to change without notice or warning.
