Camping Laurel River Lake has two large class A campgrounds which are operated by
the Forest Service.
Campsite reservations can be made by clicking on the
Recreation.gov
links above or by calling toll free at 1-877-444-6777. Also, White Oak
and Grove are primitive sites accessible only by boat or trail. Craigs Creek
Group Use Area is designed to accommodate groups of 12 or more.

Picnic Area
Laurel
River Dam Picnic Area offers an excellent opportunity for outdoor recreation.
The area offers 18 individual family picnic sites, two horseshoe pits,
playground, volley ball court, accessible fishing pier, two group shelters, drinking water and
restrooms. Group shelters can be
reserved through the Resource Managers office, (606) 864-6412, or are available on a first come serve first serve basis when not reserved.
