Master Plan Update - 2007
The original Master Plan and subsequent update in 1986 served as a guide for
the coordination of project development and management of all land and water
resources. This updated Master Plan presents an inventory and assessment of
the land and water
resources and related physical improvements, an analysis of resource use,
and an evaluation of existing and future needs required to protect and
improve the value of project resources. The Chief of Engineers Environmental
Operating Principles were used to improve the environmental posture of the
project and provided the means to establish known Environmentally Sensitive
Areas as well as designating specified use corridors throughout the project.
