Directions to Major Day Use Areas
 

• J. Percy Priest - Dam Site, Visitor Center and Overlook
  Take I-40 East from Nashville and take Exit 219 - Stewarts Ferry Pike. Take a right on Stewarts Ferry Pike and travel approximately 1/2 mile to Bell Road. Turn left on Bell Road and facilities are approximately 1/2 mile ahead.
   
• Anderson Road Recreation Area
  Take I-40 East from Nashville and take Exit 219 - Stewarts Ferry Pike. Take a right on Stewarts Ferry Pike and travel approximately 5 miles on Stewarts Ferry/Bell Road to Smith Springs Road. Turn left on Smith Springs Road and travel approximately 2 miles to four way stop. Turn left on Anderson Lane and travel approximately 2 miles to campground/day use area.
   
• Smith Springs Recreation Area
  Take I-40 East from Nashville and take Exit 219 - Stewarts Ferry Pike. Turn right on Stewarts Ferry Pike and travel approximately 5 miles on Stewarts Ferry/Bell Road to Smith Springs Road. Turn left on Smith Springs Road and travel approximately 2 miles to four way stop. Travel through four way stop for approximately 1/2 mile. Turn left at entrance sign.
   
• Cook Recreation Area
  Take I-40 East from Nashville and take Exit 221B - Old Hickory Boulevard. Turn right on Old Hickory Boulevard and travel approximately 1 mile to stop sign at Bell Road. Turn left on Bell Road and travel approximately 1 mile to stop sign. Turn right on New Hope Road and travel approximately 2 miles to Stewarts Ferry Pike. Turn right on Stewarts Ferry Pike and travel approximately 1 mile to Old Hickory Boulevard. Turn left on Old Hickory Boulevard and travel approximately 1 1/2 mile to recreation area entrance.
   
• Seven Points Recreation Area
  Take I-40 East from Nashville and take Exit 221B - Old Hickory Boulevard. Turn right on Old Hickory Boulevard and travel approximately 1 mile to stop sign. Turn left on Bell Road and travel approximately 1 mile. to stop sign. Turn right on New Hope Road and travel approximately 2 miles to Stewarts Ferry Pike. Turn left on Stewarts Ferry Pike and travel approximately
  11/2 mile to recreation area entrance.
   
• Fate Sanders Recreation Area
  Take Murfreesboro Road and travel west from Nashville approximately 12 miles to Sam Ridley Parkway. Turn left on Sam Ridley Parkway and travel approximately 3 miles to Weakley Road. Turn left on Weakley Road and travel approximately 5 miles, crossing over J. Percy Priest Lake. Recreation area entrance will be approximately 1 mile past bridge crossing on your right.
   
• Jefferson Springs Recreation Area
  Take Murfreesboro Road and travel west from Nashville approximately 12 miles to Sam Ridley Parkway. Turn left on Sam Ridley Parkway and travel approximately 3 1/2 miles to Jefferson Pike. Turn left on Jefferson Pike and travel approximately 2 miles, and recreation area entrance is on your right.
