  • On the Lake:

     
    Burgess Falls State Natural Area:  It is characterized by sheer bluffs, narrow ridges, rolling water, and abundant mixed forest. The Falling Water River runs through the area.
    Cruise Center Hill:  Executive day cruises on beautiful Center Hill Lake aboard a luxury houseboat, offering up delicious food and drink packages, excellent service and the natural beauty of Center Hill Lake providing an exclusive setting to build relationships with clients, business associates, friends and family, while having fun on the lake.
    Edgar Evins State Park:  Six thousand acres make up this rustic park. It is classified as a wildlife management area. Edgar Evins features a modern, 34-unit village cabin complex. The park also has 60 campsites for year-round tent and trailer camping.   
    Joe L. Evins Appalachian Center for Crafts:  The Appalachian Craft Center is a nationally renowned facility dedicated to expanding the influence of craft on contemporary art while preserving craft traditions, and professional programs in fine craft media.
    Lakeside Resort:  A dual-purpose facility, Lakeside Resort and Educational Complex meets the needs of vacationers, conventioneers, and boaters while also providing college accredited educational opportunities in the form of culinary arts and hotel management training.
    Rock Island State Park:  The 883-acre park is located at the falls of the Caney Fork River between McMinnville and Sparta, Tennessee. The park features ten cabins. Rock Island has 60 campsites, each equipped with electrical and water hookups, grill, and picnic table.

  • In the Vicinity:
     
    Cumberland Caverns:  This is Tennessee’s largest cave. It displays some of the largest cave rooms and some of the most spectacular cave formations in Eastern America, including an historic 1812 salt peter mine, pools, and waterfalls. 
    Evins Mill:  A distinctive forty acre retreat nestled among the meandering streams and rolling hills of Tennessee’s Highland Rim. Evins Mill offers guests all the amenities of a resort yet in the intimate setting of a country inn. 

    Fall Creek Falls State Resort Park:  This paradise of more than 20,000 acres, sprawled across the eastern top of the rugged Cumberland Plateau, is one of the most spectacular outdoor recreation areas in America. Laced with deep gorges, beautiful cascades, gorgeous waterfalls, sparkling streams and lush stands of virgin hardwood timber. Fall Creek Falls, at 256 feet, is the highest waterfall in the Eastern United States.
