    Flood gates were opened at J. Percy Priest Dam as high water pushed small amounts debris through the flood gates at the base.  Nashville saw more than 13 inches of rain in 48 hours.

    The Cheatham Lock and Dam Lockmasters office and master control center was totally submerged underwater on May 2, 2010 when more than 13 inches of torrential rains fell. Water destroyed all the office equipment and the maintenance spaces equipment including; printers, computers, mowers, generators, drills, tools and welders.
